Overview of basic long-term vehicle rental conditions.

Long-term rental is arranged for a minimum of one week. The rental is renewed in weekly intervals after advance payment of the rent.
Rent is always paid in advance before the next rental period, either before taking over the vehicle or before extending the rental.
A refundable deposit is paid before taking over the vehicle. The deposit is used to cover any damages, fines, or other unpaid costs associated with the use of the vehicle.
Only the tenant named in the contract may drive the vehicle. The vehicle may not be lent to another person. Smoking in the vehicle is prohibited. The vehicle must be returned clean and in a condition corresponding to normal wear and tear. Vehicles are equipped with a security monitoring system (GPS). The system is used to protect property, evaluate usage, and resolve insurance or operational incidents.
The tenant is responsible for damage to the vehicle and for traffic fines incurred during the rental. In the event of an insurance claim, the tenant's deductible as specified in the contract applies.
The landlord may terminate the rental if the tenant breaches contractual obligations.
